In a hidden hollow deep in the backwoods of Western Massachusetts is a sheet of ice that stays frozen 350 days of the year. Every week during this period a secret society of glaciphiles dons skates and colors and celebrates in a pageant of speed, strategy, strength and finesse. I belong to them and they belong to me.
